Our Challenge

The Mortel High Hopes for Haiti Foundation wanted to effectively tell their story of providing free education, school supplies, medical care and other life-changing items to the poorest of poor children in Haiti to reach and impact donors.

Our Influence Strategy

Suasion conducted a comprehensive behavior-based analysis to determine the type of person who would be most likely to contribute to the organization. We integrated behavioral and social science theories with extensive expertise in influential communications to tell the organization’s story in a way that moved donors to engage and give.

Understanding that people are more inclined to give if they know where their money is going, we launched a sub-brand “Cultiv8 Haiti” that emphasized the eight things a yearly sponsorship provides including free tuition, daily meals, school supplies, medical care, dental & vision care, character formation, an opportunity to give back and a chance to change the future. To help the organization achieve its goals, Suasion developed an Influence Architecture based on values alignment or seizing opportunities to connect the audience’s underlying beliefs, values, desires and emotions to the mission. We make it personal while making the audience feel needed, appreciated and instrumental in the organization’s success.

 

Our Results

From the High Hopes for Haiti website, social media and event promotions, to its many segments on CBS21 and ABC27, its communications has helped define the organization, generate credibility and connect and engage with donors. Suasion has enjoyed working with the Foundation as they’ve raised significant funds over the past several years.
